Obama's Health-care bill is not about health and not about care, it's about control and money. It's about socialism. We have
the best health-care system in the world and 270 million Americans are happy with their health-care. Why would we want to
destroy the worlds best health-care system to try and please less than 11% of our population. 89% of our population is happy
with their current health-care.
Four hundred thousand people come to the United States every year seeking heath-care
because it is rationed or unavailable to them in their own country.
We have the best medical technology in the
world which helps in the early diagnosis of disease,
Looking at imaging technology alone we have 27 MRI centers
per million people. Great Britain and Canada have 6 MRI centers per million people. One in six people in Great Britain is
misdiagnosed because of the lack of imaging technology available.
We have the lowest out of pocket expense of any
nation for health-care at 12.6%
In Europe it is 20% under their socialized national health system.
In the
United States for all cancers 66% of men and 64% of women survive 5 years or longer after being diagnosed with cancer. In
the European Union that number drops to only 47% of the men and 55% of the women surviving 5 years or more after being diagnosed
with cancer.
In the United States 90% of men over the age of 50 get a prostate exam with their annual physical,
in Great Britain it's 10% .
In cancer medicine there is no comparison at all when it comes to our current health-care
system versus Canada or Europe's socialized medicine system. The sad fact is that you are 600% more likely to die under socialized
medicine.
I agree that we need health-care reform but what is being offered has nothing to do with heath and nothing
to do with care. It is about destroying our capitalistic republic and replacing it with a socialistic dictatorship. It is
about control and I for one am totally against Obama-care.
